Delivery
Each Westhill piece is produced to order and can require up to 4 weeks to create. Delivery times depend on where you are. Orders processed in Australia can take 3-5 business days to arrive after the item has been created. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email. Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor it while it makes its way to you.
All orders throughout Australia come with complimentary delivery. International orders will be charged a $30 shipping fee.
If you are ordering an item for a gift and you need to receive it quicker than the timings outline above then please contact us before making the purchase. We will do our best to accommodate your request but can make no guarantees on fast-tracked timings.
We can deliver items all around the world. Relevant shipping costs will apply and be added at checkout.
We deliver locally with Australia Post express service and internationally with DHL. A tracking number will be sent by email once your order is shipped.
All deliveries require a signature on receipt so we do not deliver to PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
For deliveries by Australia Post, the courier will take the package to your local Australia Post outlet if you are not home. You would receive a note outlining the next steps in this case. Similarly, DHL couriers will also take the package to the local depot. In which case you can contact DHL directly to arrange another delivery attempt or for other options.
You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. If you would like to do so, simply write to us on the contact page and we will refund the original method of payment for you.
Returns & Exchanges
We offer one complimentary resize for any ring, where you can modify it 2 sizes up or down. Other modifications are available for a small fee. Reach out to us via the contact page to discuss.
Yes, we position our engravings on the inside of a ring in a certain way so that the rings can still be resized afterwards without affecting the personalisation.
All items are quality checked by a member of our team. However, we are only human, so occasionally there could be a rare fault. If you receive a faulty product, let us know via the contact page. We will be happy to repair or replace the item if you get in contact within 10 business days of delivery and return the faulty good to us using a trackable method.
Please note that items deemed subject to wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty and additional shipping may be charged to deliver the item(s) back to the customer.
If you purchased the item from our online store, we accept returns up to 10 business days after delivery on all items, except customised pieces. Returns can be made for store credit of the full amount. Contact us directly and we’ll walk you through the process. Please note we do not issue refunds for a change of mind or for incorrect purchases.
Any purchases made through a Westhill stockist must be returned to the original point of purchase.
Returns are at the expense of our customers and under their responsibility until the goods are successfully delivered, using a trackable method, to Westhill. Shipping costs are non-refundable, this goes for return shipping costs as well as original shipping costs. If you are exchanging an item with us then Westhill will cover the shipping costs of the new replacement item.
Please note we do not accept returns when items show any signs of damage or wear, or are not returned in their original sellable condition with all original packaging. Customised items are final sale and cannot be returned. Items that are returned after the defined window can not be accepted either. If we receive any items that do not meet these conditions, Westhill will not accept the return and will contact the customer to arrange a return at the customer's expense.
Unless deemed faulty, items purchased during sales or clearances are final sale and cannot be returned.

Sustainability
All of our jewellery is designed and manufactured here in Sydney to ensure the highest quality products are made using responsibly sourced materials.
All Westhill jewellery is solid gold or silver. We believe in using these high quality metals to create jewellery that should last many lifetimes, avoiding the waste of materials and additional energy in producing replacements. They are repairable and easily recyclable.
Our aim at Westhill is to create timeless pieces, sourced responsibly from the earth for you to wear a lifetime. We only use nature's finest raw materials that are mostly from recycled sources.
Our gold pieces are solid gold all the way through. Items with just a gold plating fade very quickly, which we believe encourages fast-fashion and a throwaway culture.
Westhill raw materials are of the highest quality and can last many lifetimes when cared for through family generations. The raw materials also have value in themselves, particularly gold, and this value will only increase over time. If one day, you decide that you no longer have need for your Westhill jewellery then it can be 100% recycled and fed back into the system for someone else to enjoy as a completely new piece of jewellery.
Material Care
Westhill items are suitable for everyday wear. However, we do recommend removing the jewellery when swimming, exercising or showering. Avoiding contact with perfumes, oils and creams is also a good idea if you want to maintain it's prime condition.
Silver jewellery requires more frequent care to account for its natural tarnishing process. Completely preventing tarnish from forming is not really possible, but there are a few ways you can significantly delay it's formation. The best way is to wear your silver jewelry frequently. The oils in your skin will help the sterling silver from oxidising every time you wear it. However creams, lotions, perfumes, and profuse sweating can accelerate the tarnishing process.
Store silver jewellery in a dry, cool place, in your original packaging, an air tight container, or a specialty jewellery pouch. Silver jewellery should be cleaned when you notice it becoming dull and to remove any discolouration. To clean silver jewellery, we recommend dipping your pieces in a Silver Clean Bath or polishing with a high-quality cloth. Although it can also easily be cleaned with dish soap, or an appropriate cleaning solution.
Gold is a strong, durable material that requires relatively low maintenance so will maintain its original appearance through generations if cared for properly. Although it does require cleaning to maintain its shine. Try scrubbing lightly with a toothbrush and warm water.
It is very normal for gold jewellery to tarnish and this can occur due to your skin’s acidity, particular creams/lotions, storage conditions or contact with water. Gold jewellery can easily be cleaned with an appropriate cleaning solution. We recommend the use of a jewellery polishing cloth.
Store gold jewellery in an airtight container if possible. Otherwise a dry, cool place, in your original packaging or a jewellery pouch.
While occasional showering or washing hands won't do significant damage, soaps and perfumes can have a negative impact on your item. Wearing your jewellery in a swimming pool or salt water will likely damage the item and silver will start to oxidise over time.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from westhill.store (the “Site”).
